In a historic victory, the Indian women's badminton team secured the title of Badminton Asia Team Championships for the first time by defeating Thailand 3-2 in Selangor, Malaysia. Olympic medalist PV Sindhu and 16-year-old Anmol Kharab played crucial roles in India's triumph, with Gayatri Gopichand and Jolie Treesa sealing the important doubles match.

 

This achievement marks the first time India has won the prestigious Continental Team Championships title, with the women's team showcasing exceptional performances throughout the tournament.
